The Finish Line is a medium for communicating the latest club news, as well as an informational source for what's happening in the sport of triathlon as it affects The St. Pete MAD DOGS. Articles published in "The Finish Line" may contain opinions that are not necessarily of the club as a whole. The newsletter deadline is always the 15th of each month. Comments or questions about the publication, as well as Letters to the Editor, may be sent to Newsletter@stpetemaddogs.com. The newsletter is published at the monthly member meeting, which is the last Thursday of each month. There is no December member meeting and therefore no January edition of "The Finish Line". *Note: Per a vote by the membership in 2005, we publish only multi-sport race results for top five division finishers ( top ten in championships) and all Ironman distance race finishers and occasional special unique accomplisments at the discretion of the editor and results committee ( more so in the winter months with less multisport events occuring) . The Mad Dog number says it all: Rue Morgan is one of the founding members of our club and to this day remains a driving force behind it. Rue has completed far too many triathlons to count, has completed in several Ironmans (including Kona), and has raced every Disney Marathon since inception. When he's not training, racing and howling, he'll be delighted to speak to you about 
Lisa has served multiple terms on the Board of Directors as Vice President of Membership, and she has also served the Mad Dogs in the past as our Club USAT Liasion. Lisa is an avid triathlete and races often, placing in her age group. She, with the help of Tim Hudson, combs through all the results to find any Mad Dogs in the top 5 of each age group or category. It's a very time-consuming process, and any omission is never intentional. You can submit race results at 
Tim Hudson is the current club President, has served many terms as club President, and prior, multiple terms on the Board of Directors as Treasurer. His dedication to the club and in-depth knowledge make him uniquely equipped to proof the newsletter each month, scanning for inaccuracies, clarifications, and even giving background on club members' achievements. Tim also works with Lisa to make sure our Race Results listed are accurate.
